Congratulations to Natalie Giovino, Haverford, ’17!
Student From Bryn Mawr’s Italian Department Wins Scholarship for Summer Study in Italy.
For the fourth time in recent years, a student from Bryn Mawr’s Italian and Italian Studies department has been awarded a chance to study in Italy over the summer. Haverford student Natalie Giovino ’17 has been awarded a scholarship to study at the Universitià di Camerino in Italy this summer. Natalie received the scholarship through a contest held by the Center for Italian Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia. For the competition, students were invited to present an original multimedia project on the theme “Research, Discovery, and Innovation: Italy’s Excellence in Culture and Science.” Natalie created a video (in Italian) that can be found on YouTube. Visit the Italian and Italian Studies Department website to learn about other opportunities and to find out more about studying Italian at Bryn Mawr.
